“Mike is a Chemnitz and Frankenberg based photographer, specializing in People/Lifestyle, Sports/Adventure and Transportation-photography.”
“Born on the 13th of August 1977 in Karl-Marx-Stadt, located in Germany, plenty experiences shaped his inimitable character. Mike worked as a mortician, promoter, security staff, boxing trainer, tattoo-artist and played a major roles in customer service.
In the year of 2008 he started exploring the world of photography and passionately shoots people as well as advertising jobs since.
Mike considers himself an autodidact. Learning by doing over many years and a confident dash of trial and error replace qualifications and schoolings.
It´s all about the feelings and creativity, never about routine or apathy. Every set harbours new ideas, new possibilities, new pictures.
It´s not as difficult as it seems. If something worked out quite well once he´ll add that to his skill set to benefit from it at the next job.
Creativity is not a product of education and professionality – it’s made in your head!
Further Mike tries to implement the basic concept of “content is first, technology is second” in his workflow.
Primarily he concentrates on finding ideas, conception, arrangement and intensively dealing with the task to then add high-class equipment, quality production, presentation and communication in order to achieve awesome results.
Due to their diversity, special style and propensity to exaggerate, Mikes pictures are highly sought after in Germany as well as in D-A-C-H.
Some people see a car as just a piece of metal – a means of transportation from point A to point B. But I see a story.
A story of a designer fulfilling their deepest desires by creating a uniquely shaped vehicle. A story of a craftsman refining every component, turning it into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. And a story of an enthusiast who loves the smell of gasoline and sees driving as pure passion.
